Goal #1 Strengthen Tier I Curriculum and Instruction to Deepen Learning for All Students

Goal #2 Strengthen inclusive practices through improved clarity on best practices, more effective professional development, and easier access to instructional resources

Goal #3 Ensure all Students with Disabilities and all English Learners receive essential Tier I instruction every day

Goal #4 Educate Families on How our Schools use Multiple Tiers of Instruction to Serve All Students

"Every child deserves a champion; an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection and insists that they become the best they can possibly be."  ~ Rita Pierson

Department of Education Learning Standards

Gloucester Public Schools curriculum is based upon the MA Curriculum Framework: The Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks provide teachers, students and families with clear and shared expectations for what all students should know and be able to do at the end of each year. They represent a promise of equitable education for all students. They formalize the expectation that all students in the Commonwealth have access to the same academic content, regardless of their zip code, background, or abilities.
